Meet Dr. Amanda J. Bilyk
Llicensed Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM)
Dr. Amanda J. joined our practice from Florida, where she serves as a Primary Care Physician. She holds a Diplomate Certification in Oriental Medicine from the NCCAOM and has earned both a Master’s and Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, with certifications in injection and laser therapies. Dr. Bilyk is also working toward Board Certification in Neuropathy.
Her journey in alternative medicine began in her youth, learning homeopathy, aromatherapy, traditional remedies, and herbal medicine. In 2004, she embarked on an immersive apprenticeship in Appalachian Medicine while completing her dual degree in Anthropology and Sociology at Warren Wilson College. After moving to Peru in 2009, she expanded her education in herbal and alternative medicine, traveling throughout South America to study traditional healing practices with indigenous doctors.
With over 14 years of experience in traditional and indigenous medicine, Dr. Bilyk focuses on integrating the spiritual roots of disease with modern treatments. Her mission is to bridge the gap between Western medical practices and Eastern and Indigenous traditions, while also advancing education in Oriental Medicine. Dr. Bilyk dedicates part of her time to training future physicians at multiple institutions, including Lotus Professional College in Richmond, Virginia.
